The Book Lovers’ Ball planning committee is seeking donations of items, services, gift cards, and more for the annual Ball and silent auction to benefit the Aurora Free Library.
The 20th Annual Book Lovers' Ball is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Treleaven Winery in King Ferry, NY. The evening includes dinner and dessert by Simply Cookie; open bar featuring Finger Lakes wines, beer, soft drinks and more; dancing to live music by The Destination; and a silent auction.
Auction items range from overnight stays and golf course membership. to original art and restaurant gift cards. Donations come from businesses, organizations and individuals. Committee members will pickup donated items.
All funds raised through there ball and auction support the Aurora Free Library, including community programming and upkeep of the historic building. The Aurora Free Library is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.
